Description:
In 1828, when Schubert, a composer who sang on various instruments & piano, died, Chopin's career as a musician had just begun and was not well known outside of Poland. Schubert, who started from classical music and wrote music with his own heavenly sense of time, and Chopin, who deepened his romantic music by utilizing his own pianism. Although different in style, both are full of beautiful and well-proportioned melodies. Boomsma is a young pianist who was acclaimed by BBC Music Magazine for her beautiful singing of melodies. She is also well known for her performances that emphasize the narrative nature of the music. Her performance of Schubert's long and pensive 21st Symphony gives the audience the feeling that they are on a pleasant journey, even as they sink deep into contemplation. King International
