Since it's been 30 years since Nirvana released "Nevermind", Fender thoughtfully release a limited edition Kurt Cobain Jag-Stang guitar - the same model designed by Kurt and the Fender Custom Shop back in 1993, when Kurt combined elements of his favourite Jaguar and Mustang guitar to built to ultimate axe for him. The music-history-changing legacy Kurt Cobain left us with remains ever-meaningful, which is why this Jag-Stang undoubtedly deserves a place in any die-hard fan's collection. This limited edition, left-handed electric guitar comes complete with a deluxe gig bag.
The Kurt Cobain Jag-Stang: Forceful Sound, Vintage Feel
The body of the Jag-Stand has been carved out of alder for an especially forceful foundation sound. It's been armed with a specially-designed humbucker at the bridge and a JS single-coil at the neck, plus a set of slider switches that can be engaged, switched off or rendered out of phase. Meanwhile, the 7.25" rosewood fretboard, 22 vintage frets, short 24" scale length and narrow 40mm nut provide an ultra-comfortable playing experience - even more so for guitarists with shorter fingers or limbs. Lastly, so you can throw in a vibrato effect or two at will, Fender have finished the Kurt Cobain Jag-Stang with a 6-Saddle Vintage-Style Mustang Tremolo bridge.
