On the nose, ozone and iodine meet bright heather blossom, while the palate gives way to deeper fruity notes of raisins, dates and honey. The first fill Bourbon casks have given this dram a wonderful set of sweet characters which unfurl over time with air, transforming more delicate spice layers into richer marzipan and caramel. These sweet notes persist throughout the length, which kicks back with just touches of minerality and wild flowers.
