In 1978, YMO debuted with the album "YELLOW MAGIC ORCHESTRA". From the beginning, YMO had their sights set on international activities, and in July of the following year, 1979, the album was released worldwide by A&M's label, Horizon (at the time). In August of the same year, YMO performed as special guests at the Tubes' three-day live concert in LA. This was YMO's first overseas tour, and the third day's performance was recorded and filmed. In the fall of the same year, YMO embarked on the "TRANS ATLANTIC TOUR". The London, Paris, and New York shows were recorded and released as the live album "Public Pressure" in 1980. Some of the recordings have been released since then, but this time, the live recordings are finally being released in their entirety. World-renowned engineer GOH HOTODA mixed from multi-tapes to create the latest sound, and the content reaffirms how unique YMO is, while at the same time offering many new discoveries. (C)RS
